I often wish I was one of those creative people who could think of really catchy titles for my work. Alas no, my titles are usually very straightforward and just describe what the paper is about. But maybe that is for the best. Catchy titles can be amusing, but they may not make it clear what the article is actually about. If a title doesn’t contain key terms then it may not appear in search results and the work may never get cited.

If you are struggling to think of a good title for your work this posting on the Writing for Research blog has some suggestions. https://medium.com/@write4research/why-do-academics-and-phders-carefully-choose-useless-titles-for-articles-and-chapters-518f02a2ecbb
